On a cold, weekend morning, when the fire’s crackling away and the windows are fogged up, I love nothing more than popping a big, cast-iron Dutch oven on and letting it work its magic for a few hours in the oven. It’s super easy, and makes the whole house smell dreamy – it’s the “warm the cockles of your heart” kind of cooking. 

We’re talking some of my favorite Dutch oven recipes that bring you all the cozy comfort food you need this time of year. Tender roasts, rustic stews, crusty loaves of homemade bread, and one-pot wonders that don’t ask much of you beyond tossing everything in and letting the pot do the heavy lifting.
