Irish  Brown Bread

Emma Lee

This simple quick bread is easy to whip up, a little bit nutty, and tastes delicious. Serve a warm slice this St Patrick's Day with lashings of cold, Irish butter for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

Let’s get started!

Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl with a whisk.

01

Make a well in the dry ingredients and add the buttermilk and honey.

02

Mix all the ingredients together until they are just combined.

03

Pop into a grease loaf pan and score down the middle. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 35 minutes.

04

Make sure your liquid is between 95 degrees F and 115 degrees F when adding to yeast.
