So I had a plan this morning. After having this horrid flu for the last few days and basically just trying to stay awake and get through each day I was going to be up early, and post this pic with a healthy dose of positivity to start the week. It's now 3.50pm. Clearly it didn't go to plan😳

I was going to say something along the lines of..."Starting this week with a big bowl of Spiced Honey Nut Granola blah blah blah". So I'm just going to put this out there. If you've got your shit together, are up in time to have breakfast before the school run and actually have some sort of appetite that doesn't consist purely of soup at the moment, then my Honey Nut Granola with some fresh fruit and Greek yoghurt is something I normally like to start my day with.

Tis the (fig) season!

Not one, but two recipes up on the blog this week (I know, I'm shocked too😆)

-Balsamic Fig Jam. It's a bit savoury, a bit sweet and it's totally rocks beside a good triple cream brie or sharp cheddar. A cheese board essential!

-Because we're nearly at the end of fig season and I've been preserving everything I can, A bit of a 'how to' on dehydrating figs.
